Abstract
The reverse logistics is a line of research that has received special attention by the academic studies of the supply chain. Thus, in recent years various studies were published in order to review the literature on this subject, revising the evolution of the concept of reverse logistics and point out the major challenges they face. This paper aims to review the main characteristics of bibliographic recompilations, highlighting their commonalities, their differences and identifying the main lines of work that should be addressed to consolidate this line of research within the integrated supply chain.
